Lightning 8/30/20172257 viewsI was sitting in my back yard enjoying a late Summer Thunderstorm. I actually SAW this Lightning Strike and didn't know the WeatherCam caught it until I was alerted by a loyal viewer, Brenna Snyder. Thanks Brenna!

Double Rainbow 9/4/20113472 viewsA high pressure system over the four corners area combined with a low pressure system off the southern california coast steered subtropical moisture into Southern California this evening. This provided Altadena residents with rare summer showers and a thunderstorm this evening.

This double Rainbow was seen at Sunset.

A great thunderstorm was blowing through my town. I went into the backyard and started taking time exposures with my Olympus Digital Camera. I was lucky to capture this nice bolt.

Kansas City Thunderstorm3102 viewsI was visiting Kansas City, MO and I was staying in the Downtown Marriott Hotel. A nice Thunderstorm was passing through and I was watching it out my window on the 14th Floor. I got to see several good lightning strikes and was able to capture this one with my camera. Taken with my Canon 5D, 30 second exposure @ f14, ISO 100.
