Waimea Canyon1723 viewsWaimea Canyon, also known as the Grand canyon of the Pacific, is approximately ten miles long and up to 3,000 feet deep. The canyon was formed by a deep incision of the Waimea River which is fed from the extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mount Waiʻaleʻale. Mount Waiʻaleʻale is among the wettest places on earth.

Geminids 12-14-061918 viewsAs mentioned in the earlier photo, I had the WebCam set up to capture an image every minute. This is the second Geminid Meteor I captured. This one was in the early morning hours and the radiant had risen high in the sky and the metoer is going almost straight down in the middle of the image.
