Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles. I took this while experimenting with my first Digital Camera, an Olympus C-5050. I thought it was a beautiful medley of food, people and color.

Hey Boo Boo. There's a picnic on Hollyslope Road197 viewsMeet Bear #513. According to the Department of Fish and Wildlife its a young female that tagged in Monrovia in May of 2017. They estimated her weight then at 200 pounds. She was pretty calm and wasn't bothered by me taking pictures of her. I used a telephoto lens of course.

At Last 12-04-20121343 viewsI set the CritterCam up in late November 2012. I checked the SD Memory Card each week to look for animals. It was a monotonous task going through each image one by one and deleting the ones I didn't want (which was most of them). Then one day I was scrolling through the images and came across this. I said out loud "holy S&#%".

Another Day In Paradise950 viewsWhile it wasn't the most exceptional pass of the ISS, it was a good pass for photography. The ISS passed from Northwest to North-Northeast at only 58 degrees above the horizon but it was very bright at -3.4 Magnitude of Brightness.
This image was a 2 minute exposure at f6.3, ISO 100. The North Star is just right of center and is a precise dot while the other stars near the edge of the frame are streaked because of the Earth's rotation. The clouds are blurred because of their movement in the wind.
