The fog here is rolling over the Verdugo Hills and into the La Canada / La Crescenta Valley. Strong winds buffeted Southern California last night and this morning causing wide spread damage. Fallen trees, downed power lines, etc. Sustained winds at my station were 30 mph with gusts as high as 42 mph. Combined with extremely low humidity, these conditions have prompted a Red Flag Fire Alert. These palm trees were all leaning to the South as the winds roared out of the North.
