This fourth photo gives you some perspective and an idea of how much this filled the sky. It was awesome. The Pasadena Courthouse and a large tree are visible in the foreground. Venus can still be seen about 10-15 degrees above the horizon. (11 votes)

Mount Wilson Socked In2941 viewsThis was taken the morning of 9/15/06. We were on Mount Waterman (8,000 ft elev) setting up Radio Equipment for the upcoming Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run. Looking back at Mount Wilson (5700 ft elev), you could just see the antennas sticking up through the clouds. (16 votes)

A very cold Low Pressure System moved down the coast from Alaska and combined with some moisture from the South to give us this beautiful snowfall down to about 3000'. This image was taken at 3:06 a.m. and the temperature dropped down to 33.1 Degrees just before sunrise. (18 votes)
